Where are you located?
Our address is 2706 E. Stevenson Lake Road, Clare, MI 48617.
We are located off US-127 between Clare, MI (5 miles) and Mount Pleasant, MI (12 miles).
When are you open?
We are open May – September for summer hours and Halloween until just before Christmas for the holiday season. Please see our seasonal schedule posted on the website and Facebook for specific days and times. Watch Facebook for special events or adjustments due to specific holidays. Our hours do change throughout the holiday season as we get closer to Christmas, so check our schedule closely.
What is the cost of admission?
Admission is $11 per person. Children under age 2 are free.
Do you offer discounts for seniors, veterans, etc.?
As a small, seasonal family business, we strive to keep costs down for all guests while still offering a quality experience. We do not currently offer any discounts for specific groups.
Do you offer season passes/annual passes?
Yes we offer season passes. They are available for $29.95 per person.
Are pets allowed at the farm?
For the safety and well being of our farm animals, as well as the comfort of our guests, pets of any type are not permitted at the farm. Registered service dogs are always welcome, but we do ask you to keep some distance from our animals for their comfort.
Will we be inside or outside while enjoying the farm?
There are elements of the farm located both outside and inside, so dress for the weather so you can enjoy the animals, gift shops, snack areas, and photo opportunities. We are a farm, so wear appropriate footwear for your visit. Not all areas are paved/blacktop.
Is there a charge to visit Santa? (available holiday season only)
Visits with Santa are included with your admission during the holiday season. You will take your own photos (or have a staff member take one using your camera/phone).
Do you have food available? and Can we bring outside food/drink?
During the holiday season, we have a food wagon available for snacks and meals, as well as homemade donuts, popcorn, and other treats. Coffee, hot cocoa, cider, and various cold drinks are available as well.
Outside food and drink are not permitted at the farm.
Do we need to buy tickets in advance?
You may buy tickets at the door or purchase online in advance. Purchase in advance allows for quicker check-in during peak days/times.
What if we buy tickets and can’t make it that day?
You are able to reschedule using our ticketing system by opening the email with your ticket and creating an account and then following the prompts to reschedule.
Do you host private parties?
We do! Please call the farm or email us at rooftopreindeerllc@gmail.com to inquire about booking private parties or events, including availability, costs, etc.
Do you ship items from gift shops?
Some items are available to order and have shipped. Please see our online store for those items available for shipping. Sorry, we are not currently able to ship outside the U.S.
Do you ship candy canes?
Our candy man is not currently shipping candy canes as he can barely keep up with demand for our in-person guests! Candy canes are available during the holiday season only.
Can we shop without paying admission to the farm?
Our gift shops are located within the farm, and admission is required to enter as we have no way to monitor guests once they enter. If you have a specific item you wish to purchase that is unavailable online, contact us in advance and we can hold it for you at the entrance to purchase there.
Is the farm handicap/wheelchair accessible?
All doors and indoor areas of the farm are handicap/wheelchair accessible, and the common area between buildings is blacktop for easy navigation. As we are a working farm, there are areas that are dirt, grass, and stone which may be harder to access depending on the weather.
Handicap accessible bathrooms are available in our Crooked Antler Gift Shop.
